The company

GCK

Created in 2020, GCK offers a 360° approach combining the development of technologies for the mobility of tomorrow, their integration into vehicles and the supply of clean energy.

Our group is organized around 3 divisions, which allows us to be present throughout the value chain of green energy.

  • A Technology & Industry division that brings together our companies dedicated to the development of innovative technologies for the mobility of tomorrow: lithium-ion battery, electric motor, hydrogen combustion engine, fuel cell.
  • A Mobility division that brings together all of our activities dedicated to the preparation, transformation and testing of clean vehicles. In particular, we are recognized experts in the electric and hydrogen retrofit of all types of vehicles: cars, boats, coaches, buses, trucks, snow groomers, household refuse collection vehicles, construction machinery.
  • An Energy division dedicated to supplying green energy – today we are able to produce, store and distribute green energy anywhere in the world.

Our locations

The GCK group has mainly developed in Puy-de-Dôme, in particular in Lempdes – on the outskirts of Clermont-Ferrand – where a 2,500 m² industrial site was inaugurated in November 2022.

More than 90 people produce batteries there every day and convert vehicles to run on electricity or hydrogen. The Brassac-les-Mines site is dedicated to the design of on-board electronic equipment, plastic injection and wiring.

Prototyping and motorsport activities are brought together in Issoire, while the Circuit de Charade presents itself as an ideal tool for conducting clean vehicle test campaigns. By taking over the company Solution F based in Venelles, the GCK group has expanded into Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, a strategic region in particular for the development of nautical activities.

Finally, the group has a branch in Coignières, in the Paris region, in order to have a complete territorial network.

Leading team

The group is chaired by Éric Boudot.

A dedicated Managing Director is at the head of each company in the group, while the innovation, industrialization, development, marketing, communication, administrative and financial functions are carried out cross-functionally.

A strategic committee composed of Guerlain Chicherit, Éric Boudot, a representative of AMINVEST and Christian Contzen, former President of Renault Sport Technologies, has the task of setting the strategic axes and ensuring the smooth running of the project.
