GCK Group announces a new fundraising and changes its governance
- Green Corp Konnection (GCK) completed a significant fundraising in February and welcomes AMINVEST as a strategic shareholder of the group.
- This operation is accompanied by an evolution in the governance of the group: Eric Boudot, current CEO, becomes Chairman and a strategic committee is created.
- These changes will allow GCK to continue the deployment of its strategic plan and intensify its industrial development.
- It comes after a year 2022 during which GCK achieved the commercial, industrial, and financial objectives that it had set for itself.
Lempdes, March 9, 2023 – Following its successful fund raising in August 2022, the GCK group has recently undertaken another significant round of financing, combining a capital increase and bank financing to fortify its shareholder base and secure future growth.
Notably, this operation saw the addition of a new strategic shareholder, AMINVEST, the support vehicle of Amaury Mulliez, with a focus on Mobility of the Future, Environment, Education, and Technologies (MEET). Additionally, Crédit Agricole Centre France, Banque Populaire Aura, Caisse d’Épargne Auvergne Limousin, and Caisse d’Épargne Aura have reaffirmed their confidence in the group through participation in the bank financing.
At the same time, GCK is restructuring its governance. While the operational management will continue to be ensured by Eric Boudot, also acting as President of the group, GCK appoints a strategic committee comprising Guerlain Chicherit, Eric Boudot, a representative of AMINVEST, and Christian Contzen, the former President of Renault Sport Technologies. This committee will be responsible for directing the company’s strategy and ensuring the success of the project.
These transformations allow GCK to expand its resources and further intensify its industrial development, cementing its position as a leader in transport decarbonization. In particular, the group will prioritize the development of innovative technologies (Lithium batteries, electric and hydrogen combustion engines), their integration into all types of vehicles through electric and hydrogen retrofitting, and the distribution of green energy ( electric and hydrogen power).
Amaury Mulliez, AMINVEST, declares: “Following our initial partnership through Flex’hy, I am delighted to once again support GCK in its development. It is imperative to accelerate the decarbonization of mobility in an intelligent manner, which aligns with the values and goals of the GCK group. Through its pioneering, comprehensive, and ambitious industrial approach, GCK is contributing to the emergence of sustainable mobility.”
Eric Boudot, President of GCK, said: “Having achieved GCK objectives in 2022, the addition of AMINVEST as a strategic shareholder is a clear indication of the consistency and ambition of our strategic plan. I would also like to express my gratitude to our banking partners, whose continued support solidifies our position as a major player in the decarbonization of transport.”
