  • With the “Green Charger Koncept”, the GCK group, a player in the decarbonization of transport, facilitates travel by electric vehicle by allowing faster charging and without network connection constraints.
  • A charging station assembled in one day, without civil engineering, which thus makes it possible to avoid heavy work while responding urgently to a growing demand.
  • A first station with four fast charging points will be installed this summer on the A7 motorway (St Rambert d’Albon rest area) on the VINCI Autoroutes network to optimize the travel of holidaymakers to this strategic hub.

Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny, June 1, 2022 – The Green Corp Konnection (GCK) group, a player in the decarbonization of transport, announces the deployment this summer of its first electric vehicle charging station in partnership with VINCI Autoroutes, the first motorway concession operator in Europe, which welcomes more than 2 million customers on its network every day and is particularly committed to the decarbonization of transport. This fast charging station will be accessible at the Saint Rambert d’Albon Est area on the A7 motorway between Valence and Lyon from this summer.

Meet growing demand with an innovative, fast and efficient solution

This innovative electric vehicle charging station developed by the GCK group through its subsidiary GCK Energy corresponds to an urgent need that exists today in France, with an ever-increasing number of vehicles in circulation but a lack of infrastructure, notably in large strategic hubs. Faced with this situation and in addition to existing stations, GCK offers a temporary and mobile solution which makes it possible to meet growing demand and avoid congestion at charging areas during peak periods. Installed in a single day without civil engineering work or connection, this charging station allows you to instantly set up a fast charging offer using the existing connection to the electricity network.

Thanks to its large storage capacity, and without waiting for heavy network connection work, it offers operators an alternative solution, by multiplying their capacity by two or three during peak periods in order to avoid queues. . This solution makes it possible to recharge any type of electric vehicle with suitable terminal powers, from 50 to 300 kW, which can also use any green energy source (network, solar, wind). Finally, this solution is “H2 ready”, with the capacity to connect a hydrogen generator and local renewable production.

For Éric Boudot, Managing Director of GCK: “We are very pleased to deploy this first charging station with VINCI Autoroutes which allows us to meet growing demand. With this innovative solution, GCK facilitates travel by electric vehicle and demonstrates its expertise in favor of the decarbonization of transport. »

For Amélia Rung, Development Director of VINCI Autoroutes: “Committed to the environmental transition, VINCI Autoroutes is transforming its infrastructure and services to develop new uses of carbon-free mobility. Concretely, this partnership with GCK will allow us to experiment with a mobile electric charging station to strengthen the current offer during the summer period. »
